A graduate of the Department of Traditional Chinese Music at the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, he is proficient in a variety of instruments including the erhu, Latin percussion instruments, Chinese percussion instruments, world drums, and jazz drums. He is one of the few percussionists in Taiwan who is well-versed in the art of hand drums from Europe, Asia, America, and Africa. His cross-genre experience, encompassing world music, jazz, Latin music, and popular music, along with his exceptional performance skills, cross-genre talent, and rich performance experience, has made him one of the most sought-after world music performers in Taiwan today. He has received the "Outstanding Alumni Award" from the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, the "Best Musician Award" at the 12th Golden Indie Music Awards, the "Producer Gold Award" at the 2022 and 2023 Global Music Awards, and was nominated for the "Performance Album Producer Award" at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards. He currently serves as an adjunct assistant professor at Taipei National University of the Arts, the artistic director of the "Otherworld Orchestra," a member of the "Sheng Xiang Band," and a member of the "Silk and Bamboo Jazz Band."
